WRITING THE FUTURE — A Creative Course for Young Women in Afghanistan.
Writing the Future is an online creative writing course designed for young women in Afghanistan aged 18 to 35 who hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).A new cohort will begin in May and will welcome 8 students in the English-language track and 8 students in the Dari-language track. Priority will be given to applicants residing in Afghanistan. Any remaining places will be offered to Afghan students living in Iran and Pakistan.This three-month virtual course is taught by professional authors Somaia Ramish and Bette Adriaanse in both Farsi and English. Classes are held weekly and last two hours.The course focuses on the development of one substantial piece of creative writing — either a poetry collection or a collection of stories. Over three months, students will be guided through drafting, revising, and refining their work, with the aim of preparing a manuscript ready for publication.
دورهٔ نویسندگی خلاق برای دختران در افغانستاناین برنامه یک دورهٔ آنلاین نویسندگی خلاق است که برای زنان جوان ۱۸ تا ۳۵ سال در افغانستان طراحی شده است؛ شرکتکنندگان باید دارای مدرک لیسانس یا معادل آن باشند.دورهٔ جدید در ماه می آغاز میشود و ظرفیت آن ۸ دانشجو در بخش زبان انگلیسی و ۸ دانشجو در بخش زبان دری است. اولویت پذیرش با متقاضیانی است که در داخل افغانستان اقامت دارند. در صورت باقیماندن ظرفیت، دانشجویان افغان ساکن ایران و پاکستان نیز پذیرفته خواهند شد.این دورهٔ سهماهه بهصورت مجازی برگزار میشود و توسط دو نویسندهٔ حرفهای، سمیه رامش و بِت آدریانسه، به دو زبان دری و انگلیسی تدریس میگردد. کلاسها بهصورت هفتگی برگزار میشوند و هر جلسه دو ساعت به طول میانجامد.تمرکز اصلی این دوره بر پرورش و تکمیل یک اثر منسجم در حوزهٔ نویسندگی خلاق است؛ شرکتکنندگان میتوانند بر یک مجموعه شعر یا مجموعهای از داستانها کار کنند. دانشجویان در طول سه ماه، با راهنمایی استادان، اثر خود را نگارش، بازنویسی و ویرایش میکنند تا نسخهای نهایی و آماده برای نشر و چاپ فراهم شود.
SUNDAY FREE CREATIVE WRITING CLASS - From March 2026, every Sunday at 1pm Paris time fro 12 weeks, you can join a free creative writing class on Zoom. The class lasts one hour. It is taught by Bette Adriaanse. The class is in the English language and open to everyone, from all countries and genders. The classes are nor recorded, participants can use a pseudonym. Classes will revolve around a theme and include writing exercises.
